PROGRAM LEVELS & QUALIFICATIONS

 
 

The Lenovo Data Center Program is clear and straightforward. There are no complicated qualification diagrams or confusing requirements. As an Authorized Lenovo Partner, you already benefit from our lucrative programs and incentives. However, the Lenovo Data Center Program offers two new partner levels to help you achieve greater success and you qualify for one or the other based on the following two qualifications.

Lenovo Data Center Revenue

Your designation within one of the Lenovo Data Center Program’s elite levels comes with meeting—or exceeding—challenging Data Center revenue thresholds.

Lenovo Data Center Certifications

Your Data Center focused staff must maintain a certain number of Lenovo Certifications determined by your partner level. Certifications provide your staff with a higher level of expertise and enhances their validity and appeal in the marketplace.

We currently offer two certifications, Sales and Technical Sales. More information about these exams can be found on our Certification page.

Achieved $3M in Data Center revenue during the previous 4 quarters (April 2016 – March 2017)

Must maintain 5 total Lenovo DCG certifications.
(Total can be a combination of Sales or Technical Sales Certifications and an individual can hold multiple certifications.)

Achieved $10M in Data Center revenue during the previous 4 quarters (April 2016 – March 2017)

Must maintain 8 total Lenovo DCG certifications.

These dates align with Lenovo's fiscal calendar.
Lenovo looked at the last four quarters of Data Center revenue and made the determination based on total Data Center revenue.
Lenovo reviewed a four quarter look back on all Data Center revenue including systems, options, software, and services for a total Data Center view.
  • If the partner is headquartered in Canada, they will fall into the Canadian level matrix for Level 1 and Level 2
  • If the partner is headquartered in USA, they will fall into the USA level matrix for Level 1 and Level 2
  • Allows for cross border partners to manage a single program
  • Maintains Regional integrity within the program
  • Each Geographic entity of the partner must individually hold the correct level of certifications to align with their program level.
  • Example: Acme, Inc (US) must hold 8 certifications. Acme, Inc. (Canada) must separately hold 8 certifications.

A net new partner (No prior BPID) will classified as an Authorized Partner and be re-evaluated in 6 months with the opportunity to move up in levels.

Yes. If an individual holds two certifications (Sales and Technical), that will count as two towards the fulfillment of Level criteria.

The partner will have six months or until the end of the program year (March 31) to have someone re-establish those certifications to the proper level requirements.
